John Francis Bannon

John Francis Bannon was born in ireland in 1927 and died 20th April 1997
He was married to Elsie and they had 6 children including Mark Stephen who died at birth.
John was a loving kind caring man who dedicated his life to his children
and grandchildren, he had 17 grandchildren.
everyone knew John by his Happy face and mischievous smile and he always had a kind word to say
about everyone, he had his comical ways too, where he would always make others laugh and was always
on hand to help out friends and family should they ever need him.
he was a miner all his life from the age of 18.
John was a lover of dogs and his first called was called casy.
He had one brother and 2 sisters, he grew up in ireland and had locals knew him as polly he loved to
play football.
John could be found in silverwood woods walking his dog (toby) and sitting on a bench in the woods
looking out to the lovely fields.
he met his wife Elsie and they Married in 1952 on the 17th of march.
he was Elsie's first and last love.
everyone loved John he was an angel in so many ways.

The Lake Isle of Innisfree
